The Saint Joseph School of the Maronite Sisters of the Holy Family – Mazraat Yachouh, was founded in 1952. It was first a primary school, the priest was then Hanna Doumit. At the beginning of the scholastic year of 1987- 1988, the elementary school was established. The late sisters Jeanne Rahme and Eugenie Chalhoub together with sister Odette Chawah were first who served there. The Church (Saint Joseph Church) and the school belong both to the Association of the Maronite Sisters of the Holy Family. They stand on a two real estates that were once to the family Doumit.
These information were available from the General Secretariat of the Maronite Sisters of the Holy Family Association in Ibrin where the Convent of the Family is located.
